A Busy Summer for All

Hi There Folks, Dolly here!
Well we certainly cant complain too much about the summer its been quite good overall. Mummy has been busy with weddings and things and Daddy has been spending many an hour mostly in the early hours working on projects for the community. Its been very busy,,,we,ve had lots of visitors at the house in fact I think this has been the most I have ever seen and even some new faces.
Of course summer brought the light nights and that meant I was able to hunt well into the evening. It getting cooler in the evenings now but soon I think I will be going in doors sooner after all I do like to be warm and cosy.
Ah well can I just say thanx to a few humans that have looked after me this year, Kirsten, She is really nice...sorry about whacking Tim, dont know what came over me.(Tee Hee!!!), and how's this for irony, Cat looking after a Cat! Thanx all its much appreciated as I find it really hard to open the fridge door!

Summer is a coming!!!!

Well dare I say it! Summer is well and truly on its way. Daddy put a chair and cushion out in the greenhouse for me to doze on during the day, how nicwe is that eh! Daddy's been very busy catering for visitors and then only the other day had to cater for a birthday party for friends accross the street. It got a bit noisy, I could hear it as I was curled up in the airing cupboard all snuggly buggly. I've started spending more time out in the garden now the weather has warmed up..not found anything to play with yet. Hmmm! Obviously not looking hard enough. Oh well time to go ..them meecies should be somewhere in that long grass!!!!

Tempus Fugit - Even a cat can speak different languages

Well would you believe it April already. Mummy and Daddy had a few days away and left me with Kirsten...She looks after me on the odd occasion and spoils me but dont tell Mummy! Auntie Eve and Uncle John were down over the Easter weekend..I thought I might get some more titbits...and I did!!!! Tee hee!! Next week end we have even more visitors..its like this when you live by the seaside you know! Gets a bit hectic but I think Daddy likes it as he just loves cooking and of course the odd little thing accidentally falls of the chopping board just as I walk by.....I love my Mummy and Daddy. Mummy's busy with a new Wedding stationery commission and i've had so much fun helping her sort out little flowers and things.

Oh well its been a busy day and its time for my siesta. I have this lovely big fluffy cushion near to the central heating boiler where its Oh so cosy....by for now....Yawn!!!!!

Happy New Year

Daddy says "Thats Christmas come and gone"...Did I miss something, I was waiting for it to come but all I saw was loads of people, strange things hanging from the ceiling and a very pretty tree which I had great fun playing with...perhaps that was Christmas.....Oh well its another year. January has been horrible...brrrh so cold and lots of white stuff they call Snow!!!! Very cold on the paws you know, it lands on your nose and tickles like hell!!!! I think I had the best solution and that was to curl up by a radiator and only go out when I absolutly had to.

Mummy's started a new commission so of course I'll soon be helping her ...that is once I can drag myself from one of my favorite sleeping locations.....

Christmas is Coming!

Ive heard that Christmas is coming...I dont who it is but perhaps it will be another nice person that wants to make a fuss of me and give me titbits! Ive had some really nice visitors this year which is totally different from my first year at St Columb where I was not treated very nicely. Ive been fussed, loved, stroked and on the odd occasion picked up. I dont know if I like being picked up except by Daddy as he's really gentle with me. I was taken to see the Vet earlier in August and I really thought I was going to be taken away from my nice home but Iwas brought back and I now know that Im here to stay. The last couple of months weather wise have not been good. I've had to spend most of my time curled up on Mummy and Daddys bed where it is oh so cosy. Daddy put me another Cat door in the outer door so I can now come and go as I please but if its raining I can stay in doors.

Anyway I still dont know who Christmas is so I suppose I will just have to wait and see.

Its been a busy Summer !

Well Im so tired I could sleep for a month. Mummys been so busy getting a commission ready for the 10th October its been impossible to get on the table to help her. There have been cards and inserts everywhere!!!! When I picked ap a flower with my paw.....well...you would have thought I'd committed a crime...NO! she says.....Daddy gave me fresh salmon for dinner...tee hee!!!

Oh well, Im being left on my own today for a while as Mummy and Daddy are off to the wedding.......I know these people....Why cant I go.....Lucy cooks some luvverly fish....Mmmmm

What a lot of Water!!

What a horrible week its been, well you must have heard how much us cats like water...Not!!!!
Its been so bad Ive had to sleep all day in the house.....only going out when Ive absolutely had to!! While Mummy has been at work though, Ive been keeping her seat warm for her but I think I heard her say something about her black trousers and white hairs....not really sure what thats about. Hey Ho.....and its still raining.... Back to sleep...yawn!!!!!!1
